Recently my niece calls me and, almost crying, complains:
– When I was leaving the parking lot of the shopping center and accidentally hit a neighboring car. A small scratch left on it. And as you taught me, I did not run away, but decided to wait for the owner of the car. I waited for 20 minutes. The owner came. It was a grown man, and he started yelling at me. You cannot imagine how he insulted me. He grabbed the money that I had prepared for him, slammed the door and left. I felt so bad. It feels like it’s not me, but him, who left a scratch on my heart. But I could just leave.
I replied her:
– Do not worry. Anything can happen. It is better to think that your conscience is pure. Without scratches.
